Line Design
We had to draw 5 diffrent kinds of lines for this project. We could not add shapes to the picture. The design could not have more than 1/4" of white paper showing. I changed the design by adding "weight" to the line, or making it thicker.
Positive Negative Space Design
We had to create 5 thumbnail of designs based on shapes and draw them on a sheet of black construction paper. after we had our design on the black paper we then cut it out and glued it onto half of the white paper. he remaining parts were placed on the opposite side of the full sheet.
Name Space
On this project we had to make an outline of an object we wanted to draw, I traced mine. We then made or name in bubble letters inside our shape, erasing whatever was touching the ouline. After that was done we colored in and put detail into the shapes we had made.
Tessellation
This is my tessellation. First we traced a triangle into a piece of paper. We then drew a bite into the top right hand corner. We rotated it three times and but the bite on all sides, inside and outside. After that we just traced it onto our paper and colored it in a checkerboard type pattern.
Patterns
In this project we basically just had to make the same pattern on each square, following the guidelines in the direction. We were not allowed to let the same color touch each other.
Visual Word
This project was basically the opposite of my Jayhawk design. instead of making our name in the object we had to make the the name o the object into the object.
Color Wheel
On this project we had 3 colors. Red, Blue, and Yellow. We mixed those colors with themselves and with Black, White, and Grey to make different colors, tints, tones, & shades.
Achromatic Landscape
On this painting we had to pick a picture off of the internet, trace it onto a piece of paper, then painted what ever we had traced. On this certain one I only used black, white, and grey.
Monochromatic Landscape
First I started off with finding a landscape, I then traced it onto a piece of paper. The paint color I used was blue + black, white, and grey.
Triadic Landscape
I started off with finding a picture and tracing it on a piece of paper. This painting was painted with 3 diffrent colors, the secondary colors. Purple, orange, and green + black, white, and grey.
Complementary Landscape
First I found a landscape, I then proceeded to trace onto a piece of paper. On this painting I chose 2 colors that were directly opposite on the color wheel, blue and orange = black, white, and grey.
Analagous Landscape
On this one I found the landscape I wanted and then traced it onto a piece of paper. I used blue green, green and more of a yellow green + black, white, and grey.
1pt. Initials
In this project we made a dot near the top center of the paper and drew our initials. after that we repeated the same steps as the one above. Drawing the corners to the dot, cutting it off, and closing it. Afterwards we colored it with colored pencil.
1pt. Perpective
In this project we had to draw a horizon line, make a dot somewhere on it, then draw shapes around it. Once we did that we took each corner of the shape and drew it back to the dot. After that we cut off the lines and closed it. This is how we make our 3-D effect. Afterward we colored it with colored pencils.
2pt. Letter
In this project we used 2pt. perspective. We drew 3 lines, we then drew the letter we wanted on one side and then connected all the corners back to the two points on the side of the paper. After that we colored it in what ever color we wanted.
2pt. House
In this project we picked out a modern house we liked. Using 2 pt. perspective we drew it out. After that we colored it. We then added grass and a sky.
Screen Print
In this project we found a design we liked on the computer. We then went and got a transparency sheet from the library. Mr. Loy put it onto a screen and we either screen printed them onto a shirt or a piece of paper.
Isometric Shapes
In this project we starte practicing with a packet showing us how to draw the shapes. After that we drew random designs on to a piece of paper. After that we colored it with black marker
